Believe it or not, a brand new Soling M Class model yacht is available, right out of the box.  Produced by Vortex Engineering in the 1970s, it may have been in the water only once or twice.  It comes in the original shipping container with invoice, brochure, etc. with the boat.  Boat has been stored in a climate controlled condition all of these years.  The owner is an airplane enthusiast, not into model sailing.  Asking price $1,750.00 plus actual shipping cost. The following Fairwind 900 Class model yachts are for sale on an individual basis from Bakersfield Model Yacht Club in California. There are a total of 10 complete Fairwind900s, plus a partially built kit and some spare parts. Some include the radio and receiver, but most do not. Each boat is priced separately, plus packaging & shipping cost to destination* (*This would be calculated after interest is verified). Contact each owner directly for more information. Some may be already sold.

All of these Fairwinds are currently sailed in our club regattas. Check out our race results on this website in the Fairiwnd Class to view results. Most have modified mast–head rigs, which were legal until the Fairwind rules were changed, but are easily changed to a fractional rig, by simply lowering the connection point of the jib stay on the mast.

The reason for this club-sale, is that we are changing to a different class of R/C sailboat within our club.
